There was a feeling of finality to this place, not for the journey as a whole, but an ending to the mental barriers placed by the cultists. It was the least pleasant of anywhere she’d been yet, oppressively hot, nearly suffocating, the air felt dense enough to reach out and grab. It actually reminded Sec of Mulgas in some ways, though that place lacked the almost surreal red tint to everything. This was one of only a handful of places she’d been to here that she didn’t really recognize, from this life or her past.
She walked forward, following her silent guide through what she hoped would be the last doorway.
